Carbonear Collegiate will be opening for the afternoon session starting at 1:00 PM.  Buses will start runs 4 hours later than regular time. There will be no lunch session, family members are asked to ensure student's eat lunch at home.   Period 4 will start at 1:00 PM and period 5 will start at 2:00 PM with a regular dismissal at 3:00 PM.

 Carbonear Collegiate will be closed for the morning with an update at 10:30 AM.

 Carbonear Collegiate is closed for the day due to the Winter Storm Warning.

 

 On Friday, January 26 Teachers will be involved in Professional Learning and Report Preparation, there will be no school for students.

  Hi Family Members of the Carbonear Collegiate Learning Community. This is Mr. Hodder with some information regarding the end of Semester One.  Semester One will end on Thursday, January 25th.   Semester Two will begin on Monday, January 29th . On this day, semesterized courses that start in Semester Two will begin. For students in Grade 9 this will mean a switch from Core French to Social Studies or from Social Studies to Core French and it will also impact the number of Physical Education classes as we add or subtract Religious Education for Semester Two. All Grade 9 students will have received a new schedule with the updated information for Semester Two by Thursday, January 25th and schedules can also be viewed using PowerSchool. For students in Grades 10, 11 and 12, some courses are separated into two separate semester courses. For example, Physical Education 2100 and 2101. Physical Education 2100 will end on Thursday, January 26th and Physical Education 2101 will begin on Monday

 With conditions expected to improve as the day progresses, Carbonear Collegiate will be opening for the afternoon session starting at 1:00 PM.  Buses will start runs 4 hours later than normal.  There will be no lunch session, so please ensure students have dietary needs provided at home.  Period 4 will start at 1 PM and Period 5 will start at 2:00 PM with a regular dismissal at 3:00 PM.

Update for Wednesday, January 17. Carbonear Collegiate will be closed for the morning with an update at 10 AM.

Due to continued poor driving conditions Carbonear Collegiate will be extending the delayed opening to 1PM.  Buses will start runs 4 hours later than normal.  There will be no lunch session, so please ensure students have dietary needs provided at home.  Period 4 will start at 1 PM and Period 5 will start at 2:00 PM with a regular dismissal at 3:00 PM.

 Carbonear Collegiate will be having a 2 hour delayed opening due to slippery road conditions.  Busses will start their runs 2 hours later than normal.  Classes will begin at 11:00 AM with Period 3, recess at 12:00 - 12:20.  Period 4, lunch and Period 5 will be at regular times.

  Carbonear Collegiate will be closed all day today, Friday, January 5, due to the impending blizzard and icy roads.
