 Carbonear Collegiate will be opening for the afternoon session starting at 1:00 PM.  Buses will start runs 4 hours later than normal. There will be no lunch, students are expected to each lunch at home. Period 4 will be 1:00 - 2:00, Period 5 will be 2:00 - 3:00, with a regular dismissal at 3:00 PM.

  The parent teacher meetings originally scheduled for today have been postponed until Tuesday, February 20. We will be keeping the same schedule as you had set up in the online school appointments. Students will be dismissed on Tuesday at 12:20 PM.

 We want to thank our wonderful teachers, student assistants, administrative assistants, caretakers, cafeteria staff, bus drivers, contractors and district office staff for their efforts to make our school a great learning community.

  Student Reports will be made available to students and family members via the   Powerschool Portal   on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Family-Teacher Meetings will be held in-person on Thursday, February 15 in the  school  gymnasium.  This will be a half day for students, they will be dismissed at 12:20 PM. Session One: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM Session Two: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM Family members are required to pre book  appointments  with teachers using the online  School   Appointments   website.  The system will be open to accept  appointments  starting at 8:00 AM on Monday, February 12 and ending at 10:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14.  On Tuesday, February 06, 2024 our teachers will be involved in Professional Learning and there will be no school for students.

 Due to slippery road conditions, Carbonear Collegiate will be closed for the morning with an update at 10:30 AM.

Student Semester One reports will be made available online in PowerSchool on Tuesday, February 13. Family Teacher Meetings will be going ahead on Thursday, February 15. Please note that this is one week later than the original dates as outlined on our calendar.
